Heard of Comfort Entertainment?

Ever heard of comfort food? A kind whenever wherever presented is perfect. Such kind of food which would sooth you and let you know that, "Yes, there is more to life. " whenever having a hard time.

Similarly I've experienced "Comfort" in various things - place, people, literature, music and entertainment.

The concept of things present "comfort" actually comes from emotional attachment and experience.

Korean dramas have always been a motivation for me, a way to make me feel better after a rough day or an argument or just presents me a break from the ordinary.

Everyone has one that one song, book, food, person and even movie/drama that can go on repeat and never get bored of. Mine is the Korean drama, Cheese in the Trap.

Based on webtoon of the same name, Cheese in the Trap put forth various situation experienced by Hong Seol, played by Kim Go-Eun, and which all could relate to. Her thoughts of dealing the situations rightfully or 'missing-the-mess' is something which all of us would have done at least once in our lives.

Just like the promotional poster depicts Seol being trapped within her own space and somehow needs Jung, played by Park Hae-Jin, to help her out but he also being the source of some or well most of the issues.

One should read the webtoon to some extend before watching this drama. Many of the things are better explained in the webtoon, and somehow provides a background for each character mentioned here.

Speaking of comfort show, this also has a scene where Baek In-ha tries to mess with a person who was impersonating Seol (due to some reasons). This scene feels fresh even on the 100th time (from 2.50 in the video).

To wrap up, let me list down a few of my comfort things :)

- Comfort food: Maggie cooked by my friend
- Comfort song: Attraction by Tearliner ft Kim Go-Eun
- Comfort place: Balcony

During my first isolation, back in June, when the first unlock happened in India, I understood the meaning of "being connected". It was not just limited to being f2f (which I love) but also virtually but not limited to the Internet. During this period my friends were providing me daily meals by leaving it by the door. Despite of not seeing or communicating with them much, I wasn't lonely. In fact I thought about other

THE Best Resource to Self Learn Korean

When you are learning a foreign language own your own, it is difficult to find the most suitable resource.  I started off my journey in 2017 wherein I had very limited resources. Mostly were paid or inaccessible and I didn't want to join a tutoring session just yet. It took time finding the best resource - usually I had more than one for a specific purpose.  However now I feel like I've found the One-Stop solution to commencing Korean learning journey for anyone! The website is  Online King Sejong Institute .  I was aware of their mobile app and it was quite useful BUT they Institute offers much more than that.  The website has periodic sessions and various courses to learn Korean at no or nominal cost and provides a Certificate when fulfilled the course criteria.  It provides content in VOD (video on demand) and real time classes along with materials and 1:1 interaction with the instructor.
